I made a trip to urgent care after our lab, Halle, was behaving strange and looked much fatter than normal. Dr Davis was able to perform a scan & confirm that her belly was FULL of food and that she clearly had gotten into something. Dr Davis checked all Halle’s vitals, provided options for treatment, and was very transparent about the expected costs. Now two days later, Halle is back to her sweet self and I am so thankful for the care she received at Priority Pet Urgent Care. The office and rooms were clean & comfortable, the staff was kind & knowledgeable & the costs were reasonable. As the mom of two fun & aging Labradors, this is where I will plan to take them should the need arise. So glad to have Dr Davis & her team in the neighborhood. I highly recommend them should the need arise for your furry family member.

We had the best experience here when our dog came down with pancreatitis. We were concerned about treatment costs and PriorityPet worked with us to figure out a plan. The staff were so friendly and clearly cared most about our pup’s health. This is where I’ll be bringing my dogs for emergency care in the future.

This facility and its staff are incredible. Caring & compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile for pets in need. They were the only emergency vet in the area able to work with me when I brought my dog in super late with a case of bloat. They could have easily turned me away and left me to try to find another vet on my own since we came in so close to closing time, but Tara made endless calls in attempt to help us. Ultimately, we decided to proceed with surgery here. I am writing this as I wait, so I don’t know the outcome yet, but I trust that my girl is in good hands. I have been to many emergency vets in my time as a pet owner, but never one with staff this attentive and compassionate. It is very clear they love what they do and who they do it for. I hope to never have another emergency of this caliber again, but if I do, I know where I will be headed & I urge everyone to do the same.

I brought my dog to Priority Pet after a copperhead bite. I was so impressed with the level of care that we received, especially arriving at 10 pm. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the care provided was very thorough. I was given options and kept informed during the visit (which lasted close to 2 hours). What I appreciated most was the care of the staff during a stressful situation. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Priority Pet Urgent Care. My dog, Tuxedo, was experiencing rectal bleeding, and we were both very distressed. Dr. Davis saw him immediately, performed a thorough assessment, explained the treatment plan clearly, and quickly got him the care he needed. The entire team provided excellent customer service, kept me informed throughout the visit, and showed genuine compassion. Tuxedo was discharged and is now recovering well. I recently moved to NC and haven't found a vet yet. My dog had an acute illness after hours and Priority Pet was great. She was brought back without a wait and examined. The vet came in and discussed the plan and pricing was fair and up front. They did not suggest anything extra and unnecessary. Everyone was friendly and my dog was well taken care of.
